Stand Up Against Poverty & Jubilee Sunday
Let Us Pray for All the Nations of the World
and for the Achievement of the Millennium Development Goals
Friday, September 17 to Sunday, September 19 is
Stand Up Against Poverty weekend, 2010!
Why? Because from September 20 to September 22, the nations of the world will be involved in a United Nations’ Summit to give due attention to the Millennium Development Goals, and the voices—bodies—faces—presence of ALL OF US can raise the awareness that WE CARE about ending poverty in our world!
